I always go to the same inspection place that know who I am. They know I don't have Cats on my Z and they don't care since my county does have to do exhaust tests and the guys are really laid back. Just lights, brakes, turn signals, and wipers are tested. Then I get my sticker and head home. So I show up on Saturday and then I get "the new guy." He drives it and then starts looking my car over, pops the hood, and said he can't see the Cats. I tell him they are under the car and you can see them from the engine! He fails me because the car was too loud, I need the Cats on but I can take my mufflers off. I stood there wondering where this guy got his education. So today I had to put the Cats on and will go back tomorrow to get the sticker. Knowing my luck the owner will be there and tell me that I didn't need to put them on since he knows me. I know I should drive with my cats on and know there is a huge fine if I get caught wihtout them. This is my risk and I choose not to drive with them and get inspected without them since I know the owner and he always passes me. He is a huge Z fan.
